The medical resources of the SEBNC are headed by a team of neuroscience specialists providing unparalleled care for surgical intervention of the brain, spine and other components of the nervous system. With a reputation that continues to grow, we are leading the way to produce excellent outcomes in these areas.

SEBNC is devoted to advanced technology and a continuum of care tailored to the specific needs of every patient. Our physicians constantly strive to exceed their own stringent standards. It is their mission to provide referring physicians and patients with access to the most advanced procedures in diagnostic testing, treatment and rehabilitation involving the brain, spine and peripheral nerves.

Several hospitals are equipped to handle neurosurgical and neuromedical conditions. However, the SEBNC will be unique in many ways. The center will provide other services outside of the inpatient clinical arena. There will be greater emphasis on education, promoting awareness of neurological disorders within the medical professional community. As part of the programming, the center will provide ongoing community education and support to patients and their families. For those patients who require inpatient care, the SEBNC is being designed for a continuum through diagnosis, intervention, and restoration of health. Our clinical staff will conduct ongoing evaluation of the myriad of surgical interventions to prepare for tomorrow’s practices. And in the diagnostic arena, we will continually evaluate technology used for diagnostic purposes to assist the physician to diagnose neurological diseases sooner and more efficiently.

Eden Medical Center and Sutter Health are preparing today for the delivery of those services in the future! The number of people in need of neurological care is increasing. The technology is moving faster in neuroscience than any other medical specialty. The growing diagnostic, surgical, radiological and radio-surgical techniques are driving up patient volumes in both inpatient and outpatient care. Patients are demanding conveniences and minimally invasive procedures. At the SEBNC, we are responding to those demands. It is our goal to provide referring physicians and their patients with immediate access to the most advanced procedures in diagnosis and treatment in neurosurgical care.
